The program focuses on facilitating a housing program for helping the homeless, no-income, low-income individuals in Marshfield and surrounding areas.
In early 2021,Mary's Place was approached by partners in Wisconsin Rapids, they indicated the need to open a transitional housing program in South Wood County and were interested in replicating the Mary's Place model. In spring of 2022, Mary's Place in collaboration with numerous community partners, was awarded a grant to purchase and renovate an existing building in Wisconsin Rapids to open a second location. The new location opened in 2023!
